Join us for some spooktacular Halloween family fun!

We are hosting some Halloween themed stay & play sessions. Our Halloween sessions will offer a huge range of activities for the whole family. Our activities will be aimed at children ages 2-11, however children of all ages are welcome. Siblings under 2 come free.

Activities will range from various Halloween themed crafts, messy play, potion making, spider web weaving, tool use and will finish with a trail through the woods. Hot & cold drinks provided for families – but there’ll be no fire this time!

If you’re looking for a spookier feeling experience, book on to our 16:00-17:30 session and bring a torch! The sun will begin to set around 17:30 so the woods can feel quite enchanting as the sun sets on the day. This will make the trail through the woods feel extra special!

AM session 09:30 – 12:00

PM session 13:00 – 15:30

£12.50 per child & £9.50 for siblings

Join us for some festive family fun in the woods!

We are hosting our Christmas themed parent and child sessions again after their success last year. Our Christmas sessions will offer a huge range of activities for the whole family. Our activities will be aimed at children ages 2-11, however children of all ages are welcome and siblings under 2 come free.

We will be hosting six sessions over three weeks, with the same activities repeated on the Saturday and Sunday. Every week will be different, meaning you can attend one, two or all three weeks to get yourself in the Christmas spirit!

1st & 2nd – Christmas week 1

8th & 9th – Christmas week 2

15th & 16th – Christmas week 3

The sessions are 2.5 hours long and there will be lots of activities on offer, ranging from various Christmas themed crafts, such as decoration making, gingerbread and cinnamon scented messy play and a good dollop of tool use.

There will be hot & cold drinks provided and we will have our fabulous camp fire, where we’ll play games, sing, toast marshmallows and make s’mores together.

We advise wearing waterproofs to keep the heat in and the cold out. There is limited shelter at our site, so if it’s raining be prepared for puddle jumping and mud splatting!

Our sessions are outdoors and will run in all weathers, other than strong wind and electrical storms. In the event of this, we will issue you with a full refund or the option to rebook at a later date.

Forest School Fledglings

Wednesday 26th September 2018 – Wednesday 31st October

10am-12pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm

£45 per ticket & £30 for siblings

Help your little one’s soar to new heights on our Forest School Fledglings Course!

We are hosting a 6 week parent & child course that begins on Wednesday 26th September. The course is aimed at parents with children age 2-7. Siblings under 2 come free.

The course begins with an evening introduction on Monday 24th. This evening will give us the chance to share the structure of the sessions with you and give you the chance to meet fellow parents and ask us questions.

During the course we aim to touch on topics such as child development, in particular emotional intelligence, schemas, play and the forest school approach.

During each session we will share skills with you, such as tool safety, fire lighting, tree identification and uses, giving you the knowledge and skills to work on projects with your little one over the six weeks.

The course will run every Wednesday starting on 26th September until 31st October. As the sessions finish on Halloween, I thought we could rustle up a campfire feast of pumpkin soup on our last day together!
